ACADEMICS
In the case that a student misses more than 1/3 of the total lecture hours, a grade for that specific course will not be received (‘F’ grade will be given).
Academic grades are determined based on a combination of test scores, attendance, and other forms of evaluation for each course. The grades and GPA are categorized as follows:

B+ | 85-89 | 3.5 |
B0 | 80-84 | 3.0 |
C+ | 75-79 | 2.5 |
C0 | 70-74 | 2.0 |
D+ | 65-69 | 1.5 |
D0 | 60-64 | 1.0 |
F | 0-59 | 0 |
Completion of a course program unit results in the awarding of credits.
Students can take a minimum of 12 credits, maximum of 17 credits per semester, but where unavoidable due to a curriculum, they may complete up to 19 credits with the approval of the School President. However, a student with a grade average of "B+" or more in the previous semester may undertake three credits above the set number of credits for that semester. (As a rule, students enrolled before 2015 can take a minimum of 12 credits, and maximum of 18 credits.)
Students in their fourth year or above with a grade average of "B+" or higher who wish to undertake master's degree courses may take up to 6 credits of master’s coursework with the approval of the department head. These credits acquired will be counted toward the credits required for graduation from the bachelor's degree program. Details regarding such arrangements will be determined seperately.
Students gaining University Admission through pre selection etc, who complete a course offered at the school before admission and acquires credits for that course are eligible for credit recognition. In this case, the student will be given recognition for up to 6 credits on admission to the school.
A student wishing to acquire ABEEK engineering accreditation must satisfy separate requirements.
The grade of "D0" or higher is recognized as an acquired credit.
