Buddy Program

Hongik University operates Supporter (Buddy) Program to help foreign exchange students studying in Hongik University to adapt Korean life and school life.

Selection time Around every January and July
Qualification Hongik University students speaking fluently in foreign language(s) without disqualification for receiving scholarship
Content of activities From immigration to departure after completion of study of a foreign exchange student, the matters needed for Korean life (bank and cellular phone, etc.) are supported and academic matters needed for a foreign student are supported by a friend.
Scholarship and recognition of service hours KRW 150,000 is paid as service scholarship every semester and the service hours (15 hours/semester) are recognized.
