If a poor grades has been received (including an F grade) in a subject taken previously, this subject and grade can be deleted by taking the same course again. This system only allows for this to be done once per subject. However, there is no restriction on the number of times a student retakes a subject if the acquired grade is an F.
A student can retake a subject if the acquired grade is C+ or lower (however a student can retake a course in the Summer/Winter Semester, regardless of their previously acquired grade)
A student is unable to retake a course if the acquired grade is a B0 or higher.
Students can only apply to retake one subject per semester, for subjects where the acquired grade is C+ or lower. (however a student can retake a course in the Summer/Winter Semester, regardless of their previously acquired grade)
Subjects with an acquired F grade are not included in this limit.
All retaken courses are evaluated under the relative evaluation system and the maximum grade which can be given is limited to A0.
(same policy for Summer/Winter Semester)
When a subject is retaken, the grade previously acquired is not immediately deleted, but deleted at the end of the semester due to mid semester occurrences such as leave of absence and dismissal. (4th year students may apply for early deletion of a subject and grade)
If there are changes in the number of credits or credit division, or changes in the area of general education of liberal arts or engineering major students, then recognition of credits, credit division, or subject area will be recognized based from/on the standards of newly acquired credit time.
If a grade acquired after retaking a course is lower than the original grade, the new grade after retaking it will be displayed as the final grade, due to the deletion of the original grade.
By registering for the subject during the course registration period, the system will automatically confirm the intention to retake the course.
If a student wishes to withdraw from a retake request, this can be done by withdrawing during the regular withdrawal period for general course registration.
On classnet, all subjects and the acquired grades are shown before and after retaking (grade before application to retake & new grade after retake).
On an official transcript, only the grade after retake will be indicated.
